I once returned some chicken to the local Chinese takeaway
The guy asked what was wrong with it
I said "it's rubbery!"
he said "ahh, thank yaw velly much"

Ok fair enough, the meat was really rubbery - whether that means its cooked properly or not I don't know, as I don't know much about chicken.
Maybe I'm just taking the general rule of thumb I'd heard about if the "meat is pink its not cooked properly" a step too far.
But yeah, the chicken was really rubbery and dry and I noticed that on the first piece of chicken it was white meat, so I got another piece thinking it might not be as dry, but it was and that had pink meat inside it. There wasn't any bleeding though, so I guess it was cooked properly after all?
