So the suspect was identified at the scene via CCTV for a robbery on you, he was caught robbing someone else but with more violence and the CPS didn't think it was worth pusuing ?

I don't believe that for a second.
 
i was gonna say u should have kicked the **** out of one of the girls lol...
Then plead self defence if you went a bit OTT.

Sounds a bit weird but im sure it would be fun.

Im pretty sure its better to go down in a blaze of glory than submit your stuff to a bunch of 15 year old scum. As soon as you know how the situation is goign to go start chanting some insane Gregorian stuff or even better start screaming Allah Ackabr..

That would probably give you the edge

I've been in a few fights and 1st time you bend over and take it or try to run... 2nd time you think about the first time and hopefully do somethign about it this time..
 
Sorry to hear about the Mugging Eyyaz - hope you're alright now and not too shook up etc.

Learning a martial art not only will help to train your self defence, but it will provide confidence.

I don't believe for one moment that being proficient in any style will protect you in an alley way against 6/7 assailants, but gaining some confidence will aid you in being what Freefaller descibed as 'streetwise'.

Personally, I think running like hell is the best way of avoiding a kicking. If cornered I would happily give up any posessions rather than take on what could be a knife/gun.

I've been attacked/mugged twice and in both times there was between 3 and 4 guys..and a dog. And i came out fine both times

Just learn some kind of martial arts, i completly battered them all one after another just by doing basic Jujitsu.

I would rather spend the 45 mins I would be at the police station doing pointless paperwork tracking down the numptys on bookoffaces.com then go round with some tasers and cans of mace

It seems basic Jujitsu is less "basic" then it used to be then :)
 
Good to report it,but doubt the police can do much TBH.Even IF they catch them,very little would happen to them.The main thing is you are OK.
Its never happened to me thank god,but looking like a scummy hairy biker does have its advantages sometimes!

LoL, there was not just one suspect but a whole gang of the ****ers. He was the main ringleader though.

If it helps prove it to you, I can try and take a photo of the inside of my mouth where I am missing a load of teeth.


Fact is that people DO have justification for not having faith in the system.

its people like you who pretty much help the muggers get away with it

the police know who the local muggers are . its the same people doing it most the time. they just need the proof. you not even telling them that a crimes took place doesnt help them to get any

for a start you wouldn't even need to go to the police station

as for not doing much. well most people i know who have been mugged have been compensated for there losses. better than nothing
 
^^my friend got mugged at a cash point caught on CCTV by 2 guys, they stole a car, crashed it around the corner and ran off...

the police said they knew exactly who it was.

and then proceeded to do sweet fa and not press any charges or do them for anything.

i like the police:/
