The delivery man has arrived :)

Excellent! :D

Couple of pics of the finished setup, still got a bit of cable tidying to do behind the amp, but im waiting for will gill's DVD player to finish it off.

Stand was £24.50 from high street catalogue shop, looks great for the money. Bought the amp and speakers from www.exceptional-av.co.uk worth mentioning if you want the same setup that i bought it last week and got the woofer upgrade thrown in, so it was about £100 cheaper than it should have been, the woofer looks great as well and dosent take up much room.

If you end up buying it all, blame easyrider, he's cost me about £1500 so far thanks to his thread :P

nice setup man!

it is a sexy looking woofer indeed! cheers for the link will have to take a look I know its expensive but it seems a very good setup and sexy to boot

Played any movies on it in 5.1 glory yet? bet Dark Knight would be awesome! \:D/

Im officially jealous now time to start saving the pennies!

Ive not watched any films yet, ive got my nephew who's 7 coming round tonight for its grand opening, Indiana Jones and Star Wars in HD on the projector with the sound, so im looking forward to it.

Two reasons really, the stand was silver, and i was buying the silver denon dvd player, so there was already a high quantity of silver, and secondly, it was the only colour in stock :P

You can solve your centre speaker issue by mounting the TV on the wall which removes the foot from the equation. Get something fairly universal and it can last several upgrades :D

I cant unfortunately, theres a fireplace blocked up behind that and i couldnt get the mounting low enough to not interfere with my projector picture, which projects above that.

That said, ill be getting all that brick stuff removed at xmas, and will probably get the fireplace properly blocked up then, which will allow me to mount the tv, get a proper TV stand, hide all the cables and get a screen to watch the proj with.

Ran out of cash just now, need another couple of grand to finish the room off.

Looks good Mark - i had a party on fri night and therefore had a chance to crank up my KEF's for something other than home theatre and they were brilliant. You really need a movie like iron man to fully stretch that setup :)

I stuck on a CD yesterday actually for the first time and cranked it up to 40 (im not sure what it goes up to, 100 I guess) the sound was tremendous though, the sub is superb on the system.
