Anyone notice the amount of food products dropping in size, yet the price hasnt changed?

I'm noticing this quite a lot actually. It's very sneaky. Also sneaky is the re-branding of the same product in some fancy new packaging with the amounts reduced.

Yay for creative marketing, its been happening since packaged food was invented, you just see it more when you start looking around shops during harder times, shops want same amount of profits even though they are making less sales.

crisps are horrible , go back 20 years buy a packet of good old walkers and see how many more crisps you get in a packet.

I noticed this on Tesco ham the other day. It always used to be 2 for £3 and each pack had six slices. Now, same deal price, only 5 slices per pack.

stop buying prepackaged stuff then it's always more expensive. In the case of Ham, above - just buy a bit of ham (by weight) cook it and slice it. it'll be about 10x cheaper.

Yer i agree it contains more air than crisps, cheesed off about it. seeing less and less take yogurts 3/4 full some times even 3/5s full just a joke.

Totally. also the multipack crisps will be smaller than the single packs. Yestraday I had a pack of walker prawn cocktail. Was pretty hungary so I crushed the crips in the bag, then opened it and poured it in my mouth for maximum crisp intake velocity. I emptied the whole pack in one go. Yes I accidentally a whole crisps in one go. sucks. Mean you need to eat like 6 bags i wonder why britain's population is getting obese

i've noticed it, its sad when i think back an rembember buyin a mars bar for 25p an now its 50p for somthin half the size

same with all other stuff tho, just another way to rip people off an still profit
