ok, so i want a SSD, will be used purely for OS which will be Windows 7.

which one out the above two would suit me?

i have other storage drives so this SSD will be used just for OS.

just a bit stumped on this choice!

help!!

Thanks

If it's for the OS, then get the Intel since if you have a look in it's thread you can see how well it responds to the random reads and writes :) (No other drive can touch it in those departments)

Crucial M225 128GB is better option for its price and size

SSD may be pointless for you if your not going to be putting OS, programs and games onto the SSD, as you not be getting full use out of the SSD all you get is windows boting up fast when desktop loads hdds that have your programs on could slow the system down#

the above post holds true as well but its the price for performance your not going to notices, go for space

I think he means, only windows with installed programs will be on the drive and games will be on another. This is certainly how I'll set my SSD up when I get one. I'm not bothered how fast a game level loads (I can wait a few more seconds etc) but it annoys me when windows isn't very snappy when opening programs etc.
