I Cut My Finger DEEP

Stepping barefoot on a huge rusty spike. When I lifted my foot the plank that the spike was attatched to lifted off the ground as well :o the sound it made when I pulled it out nearly made me faint lol

Accidentally cut my thumb open whilst drunkenly playing with a samurai sword, certainly learnt my lesson then.

Snapped left shin in two at kickboxing almost ten years ago. Bone sticking right out, couldn't walk it off :p saturday night AE, joy.

Scar tissue and indentation from removed dead tissue, some nerve damage ie loss of feeling. Other than that its pretty strong these days.

two nails across the back, could have easily been puncture but instead bent and tore 80cm chunks from shoulder blades down. never scarred that one oddly enough.

Edit: oh yeah remember climbing and balancing on a 8-10ft wooden fence with overgrown grass on the other side, thought nothing of it and jumped down.. right ankle landed at almost 90 angle inwards on a brick under leaves I didn't see. promptly fell over in pain, an apple grew in my sock instantly and that was a wee while on crutches. months iirc. that has never recovered like the broken bone :(

Self inflicted?

Erm, once, I was helping a mate clear out his back garden of timber into a skip out the front and stood on a plank with a big ****ing nail sticking out of it. Lifted my foot up, took the plank off, flung it away and checked the wound. Seemed ok, with a little pain and a little blood so trainer back on and would get it sorted properly later.

30 seconds later, I stood on the same plank with the other foot. :(

The last one caused quite a nasty wound but it's healed perfectly.

fell over onto the road while drunk and went down on my arm ended up with a badly bashed elbow, hurt for a long time afterwards and ended up with some nasty bruiseing

think my worst injuries are i got the tip of my index finger chopped off by a metal gate, torn my banjo string twice, first one was horrible second time i just cried abit an hopped in the shower, seemed the help it, an worst injury was when i was a kid, climbing a tree and fell out of it impaling my left arm on a branch in the process. oh yeah i twisted my nuts playing rugby and had to have them put back in the right position surgically and sewn into place D:

I punched a kitchen wall and broke three fingers, was a bit drunk at the time, god did it hurt when the booze wore off in the hospital.

Recently, slipping with a knife and slicing my finger while trying to cut a bagel in half - I thought it was defrosted, the slippy icey core thought otherwise... it won the argument.

Overall (ie, when about 10), I've sliced open my calf while jumping off someone else's garage - that was a particularly nasty one. I also opened about 10 or so cuts on my forearm and gashes on my leg after mis-judging a bend on my bike, I went sideways into a very sharp dry stone wall topped with barbed wire. Hurts just remembering it.

This is a joke right? RIGHT?

Nope, no joke. He lost one and they managed to save the other. He woke up in a hospital bed a few days later with a large cage like thing around the area to keep the blankets and what have you from touching the area. Luckily, the one remaining nad works fine, they'd given him a 50/50 chance of it working, and he now has twin Sons.

It's a pretty common injury when the rider goes over the bars and there's custom dials in the way.

2 stupid injuries from the past week, I managed to close my car boot lid on my middle finger and now the part the lid hit has turned black from the internal clot - awaiting it to scab away!

2 days after that I was making a delicious cup of tea and went to turn the kettle power switch off after it boiled little realising that steam was coming out the top of the tip and managed to steam burn the top of my arm about 2 inches long 1 inch wide. It's now ballooned out and lochs funky, it will settle down after another day or so before leaving a permanent but faint scar - I know the drill from ages ago when I managed to burn my triceps on the iron (oh the humanity...).

:(

Very drunk and tried to jump some railings, snagged a foot and smashed my face into the pavement opening up my top lip (stitches required) and tearing the small piece of skin which attaches the top lip to the gum.
Friends reaction after I picked myself up - "Dude I can see layers" :D
