I don't like the look of the Dock on the bottom (and yes I know you can change it with a bit of Terminal magic)!

I have mine at the top with a dock at the bottom (gnome-do on itellihide), using ubuntu. When you get used to it I find it's better as my mouse is always resting closer to the top near tabs of the browser anyway. I like the change from windows too
