Demons Souls PS3

I've racked up well over 20 hours already, just finished the second world and did a few extras on the first world then got my backside handed to me on a plate by an old king :(

This game still reminds me of a 3D Diablo but with much more skill to the combat :)

Off to play some more!
 
are the messages you choose to leave from a dropdown list? (from the vids ive seen yeah)

or can you choose what to say?

Also how is the framerate in the game? Can bosses knock down walls? (so no hiding behind scenery etc)
 
Well my copy came today. Really quite unforgiving, that HP pool after you die in tutorial is nasty! Great fun none the less if that 1st boss in the castle is anything to go by.

Anyone around level 60 want to trade some stones, I really want to max my crescent but can't find any pure darkmoon stone :-/

Great game. Got to the tower knight last night (the huge one in 1-2) and stuck down my blue eye stone for a bit of help. All of a sudden came up with an internet connection lost message and kicked me back to the menu. I'm scared to turn it back on in case I have to start 1-2 again. Them damn dogs fry me every time :P

How many phantoms can a human summon because i was summoned by someone and there was also another phantom. so there was three of us.

There can be four of you at any time, so three other players can be summoned.

Yep you can although there have been reports of corrupt saves by doing this. I've done it a few times and it's been fine but be warned.

ahh no it was installing an update (47mb).

Pretty good game very smooth combat. Coupla things..

its a bit harsh at the start coz its impossible to retrieve your body. So you continue in spirit form. Also i got a sword but i couldnt use it...well i could but i didnt have enough ability to use it effectively or something??? I chcked out its stats and i couldnt say any kind of skill/level requirement.

Ohh and i got hit by a trap (didnt kill me) i continued on and then i died and back to beginning of the level i go but anyway i get to the trap bit again so i think i should leave a msg here... as weirdly there is no msg. But the trap doesnt appear (boulder) i thought enemies and traps respawn??

Finally i havent got a scoobie which shard to enter first and how to tell if its tougher or not. (apart from the really tough ones which have msgs in front of em telling u its HARD :D

i went through the small king shard and a cutscene of a dragon came up. Im basically level one - how do i take out a dragon lol ?
 
being one hit killed even with shield up is a tad annoying!!! so i have to fight past another 30 to get to that same spot again.

tried to leave a warning msg but for some reason it didnt work. I mustve beeen not logged into their server or smt?? As i didnt see other msgs or ghosts either.
 
Finished my first play through tonight, really gutted tbh as I was forced to finish it due to Thomas going bonkers and trying to stab me everytime I was in the Nexus (my own fault for attacking him). I also went through 1-4 with two other players and didn't get a chance to kill the blue dragon.

Second playthrough now and it's even harder than the first one.....

Going to spend some more time collecting stones so I can max out some weapons, also want to try and shift CT & WT in this playthrough.
 
Got my verson today, so far ive died 5-8 times and only 3 of those were by mobs the rest by falling down holes/stairs, think im near a boss battle as i just opened the big gate and a massive spear came flying out, not sure how well im going to do as im playing as a thief.
