GMs dont know this stuff, I know a few (there's a few in my guild), about all you get from GMs are free alpha/beta invites and bug info.

Can totally see this happening unfortunately.
Blizz are all about the $$ these days... and its becoming increasingly obvious that their real talented people are working on other projects.

Beats me then, because the WoW GM I knew told me everything well in advance of public knowledge of it. Also the guy I went to school with who is now a GM for Codemasters has told me a lot of LOTRO stuff well in advance of public knowledge of it.

I think possibly what you are calling a GM is different to what I call a GM.

I think possibly what you are calling a GM is different to what I call a GM.

Around TBC time one guy (doesn't work there anymore though) used to tell me stuff but policy has changed since then, although it's quite cool getting peoples ban info etc..

Presumably they are going to have to do these changes for everyone? Otherwise you will end up with people who havent bought the expansion...and the lands will look the same for them (a normal thousand needles for instance), whereas those who buy the expansion would see the altered lands (the flooded thousand needles).

Guessing they would have to have the land changes work for everyone regardless of whether they have the expansion or not.

Far to early to make this thread. All of it is simply rumors and data mining.

The thread either needs the first post completely edited when the Blizzcon event is over (ASSUMING that they give info) or it is simply not worth speculating.

Evolving lore is one thing, but they completely beat their own story with a stick at times...

Not decided yet. My friend wants to plan aion badly, and wants me to level with him - which I may do.

But as for this hmmmm.... I wanna play but a lot of my current guild are quitting or getting sick of blizzard. Honestly no idea what I will do.

I know only one thing that one of my friends just recently has quit WoW due to new changes with badges and top tier gear almost for nothing. I quit few months ago and not going back now.

Aion here I come.
