A chance for you to point and laugh :D

I had the same fault with my Fez, same colour too (bcuz that obv is one of the causes).

Called the AA too.

Had the fuel pump replaced as advised by AA man, and still kept cutting out :( . May have just been the fuse for the pump was faulty as I think replacing this fixed it after an unnecessary and expensive repair.

I still have my original fuel pump if you want it Janesy?

My dad used to have a transit with a 'sticky' starter motor. Always got funny looks when you jump out with a hammer, open the bonnet, smack it a few times, then jump in and start it up! lol

That's quite cheap for the fuel pump, is it the lifter pump inside the tank or an inline one?

It's a lifter pump in the tank, I can all my parts via the trade :)

Does this mean my Mini is actually better than Janesy B's fiesta that I see splattered all over this part of the forum? :p ;)

Admirable, hope you get your car sorted out mate. Hope nothing else is wrong with it as i guess that could a fair few £'s. :o

EDIT: Ooooooh and my car is a whole 1 year older than JB's.

*Hides*

:D

Yes, it's much better, don't even try to humour me :p

Shoulda got me to come round and boot another football at it :D

Not if you do want that POS KA crushed into a little cube :p

LOL Dup! :D

Janesy how long did you have to wait for the AA man?

About an hour, most of which was spent on Pistonheads looking for a new car :p

I'm good thanks, pump is definitely buggered, I'm getting a misfire but due to lack of fuel rather than the coil being buggered.
