HTC HD - you got one? what you think??

The gf wants to know how to bluetooth files across from her phone to her Macbook? Anyone got any ideas? Apparently when selecting the file there is only an MMS option.
 
Just for those worrying about the Invisible Shield, i have one on my iPod Touch and it looks and feels excellent, and does an awesome job of preventing scratches. It's pretty eas to apply if you get the box with the squeegee and the couple of air bubbles i had dissapeared overnight. I dont think i'll ever take it off. It's been on for a year now and it's not lifting at the sides, or dogearing, no scratches and it cleans easy. Literally the best £20 i ever spent!
 
Prices seem to have gone up? The O2 18 month one now doesn't have the cashback and the phone now costs money too.
 
Bah, O2 are refusing to swap bundles (text for inet) As i bought the phone from a 3rd party. Spoke to moblies.co.uk to see what they can do and they said It depends on who I speek too at 02.... What a pain. Ringing o2 again now, 4th time lucky.

edit: LOL looks like i got through to the right person this time. What they need to do is change they tariff from a CPW one to an o2 one and its fine. Should have my unlimited net by weds.

I wonder if i shoudla done that.

Mine arives tomorrow and i will have 1200min, unlim text, 500mb internet 25 quid a month for 2 years and cost me 100 quid for the phone.

But its like 1gb internet SO much more useful isn't it if u wana streeme videos etc?
 
Mm ok then got my htc touch hd. Im presuming to activate i simply wait for a text ?

Also how do i get onto google maps, orange maps etc? they dont appered to be installed on my htc :S
 
Thinking about getting one of these on T Mobile through Mobilephonesdirect.

How much of an issue is it not having a keyboard? How fast can you text?

im gettin faster by the day. its not as hard as youd think really. also using predictive text on a qwerty keyboard is handy because if you type the first few letters it comes up with the rest of the word.

Though i am pritty irritated taht they put the t9 on/off on tjhe qwerty keyboard. The one keyboard that really shouldn't be used with it.

I'm selling mine now after getting the Hero but I used Dutty's Custom 6.1 ROM which really improved the general feel of the phone more than any applications.

Not much help with your question but meh :p.

Forget the apps at first. Get over to XDA dev and learn how to drop a custom rom on the device.

I've got Dutty's latest 6.5 rom on mine and it honestly does make it a different phone (in a good way).

I really enjoy using the screen on the Hero as well as the google and facebook integration (Yes I know you can do this on custom HD ROMs).

It runs nicely for me and the phone generally feels nicer to use.

Yes the screen and resolution is smaller but I don't really notice it when using it on its own (maybe if I ran the same page side by side, but I don't!).

Plus the fact that while WM is good, I think it is more suited to a business user and Android works great for what I need.

Oh, and I should get £250+ for the HD :p.
