Evolving lore?

Lore is history, there is nothing to stop a race "learning" a class later on you know.

However, some of it seems more than a little ridiculous tbh

Apart from some of them ban it. For example night elves and magic. Blizzard have in several instances completely /deleted their old story and remade it to try and fit in with the new game. Not really a lore buff, but some stuff like a tauren paladin just makes 0 sense.

plus the notes are a joke.

it's most likely the new MMO they are working on.

plus we apparently still have a long long way to go with this one according to interviews with blizzard
 
Yeah, Blizzard may announce something towards the Ice Crown instance.

I was expecting more information on Diablo & Starcraft & New mmo.
I wasn't expecting a new expansion, esp not Cataclysm the name doesn't fit.

I also think the "expansion notes" are awful, and laughable.
 
i want tauren rogues tbh.

and the ability to dual wield guns as a tauren hunter, due to how huge and badass they are
 
I've wanted Tauren rogues for years !

I just love the idea of them in stealth.

I can't understand some of the idea's that have been suggested so far.

Indeed I do.

There is a difference between finding the idea of a Tauren rogue amusing, and watching Blizzard, butcher (even more) a very good game.

Yet more speculation on the next expansion as Soundblaster put up a teaser for a new product on their front page... WoW.com discussion of Soundblaster teaser

Personally, I think they're pretty much on. Both sites (wow.com and mmochampion) are obviously protecting their sources, so aren't going to reveal where they've got the info from. But neither site usually posts idle rumour or guesswork, so I would think that they do have some fairly solid information to work with. Whichever way it goes, we'll find out soon enough!

Icecrown isn't enough to make an expansion on its own, I reckon it'll hit around 3.3 in December/January, perhaps with a new hero class. Cataclysm will release about the end of Summer 2010.
 
MMO champion are normally quite good with their info. Its not always spot on but normally quite close to it.

Still with everything that is speculation at the moment take it with a pinch of salt.

I personally hope that they have got it totally wrong :p but hey thats just me :p

i think the concept for the expansion could be right. (read 'hope it's right'. i <3 deathwing)

i dont think the new class combos/new races are right.

though im still thinking its the new mmo
 
I was under the impression that the two expansions remaining were going to be, the Maelstrom, and the Emerald dream.

I don't want these changes to the "old world", Blizzard have not done anything in two expansion packs that would lead you to believe they want to change old world content.

I don't like the class / race combinations described.

Infact, this all sounds like fan boys, who herd about the new website that Blizzard now own and have crafted what they would like to see.
 
New blackrock mountain raid!!!!??? omg bring on the pvp gank fests :D

This could probably be the best expansion WoW has produced!!
