LOL, then i would guess you dont have your graphics set up right. And its not dull. Get into a decent 0.0 alliance and take part in 300+ fleet fights, it is far from dull

Anyone here using a Loki in WH space? im really stumped as with most minnie ships how to fit the blasted thing, ive got a perma tank running but only a defense eff. of 587 which aint gonna cut it.
Should add this ship will teamed up with a Tengu, Proteus (sp?) and 2 Drakes, mainly Class 3's with a couple of Class 4's thrown in for diversity.

Post the full fit, might be able to see if your missing something... I'm trying to think of a use for a Loki at the moment
got the subsystem skills all at lvl4 but not bought the ship yet
587 Defense should cut it fine for a Class 3, Since you will be signature radius tanking with the Loki. A setup i came up with to solo C3 WH's is along these lines.

It is cap stable with the AB and Salvager off. AB On Lasts 8 minutes 6 seconds.
Defense is 558
DPS is 493 using EMP M and Drones.
This should work but i have not yet tested it. 650 DPS tanked is the magic number for battlecruiser class ships if i remember correctly for a C3 so this should survive.
Ever played WoW? sounds like you suffer from WoW Syndrome where you are led on and told what to do. Eve is a game where you have to actually think for youself a lot of people are put off by this and just get confused in the world of eve..sounds like you tbh.

same sort of setup that ive been toying with, apart from i was using 2 small plex boosters, 1 cap flux coil in the low and ambits for the rigs. Ill give that setup a bash once we can get back in.
can you post the setup please
ive toyed with the idea of duel small plex boosters but it didnt get too far.

Each to there own I suppose, for me Eve is the only game out there thats gives the widest choice of play style. For a MMORPG I dont think it can be beat by anything out currently.
Graphics are great, depth of play is huge and the learning curve is like everest and once your at the top you find another hill to climb.

it would appear i was looking at the wrong setup, the 587 def is a medium booster setup, my dual small is only 419, which doesnt work at all, but its here to mess around with.

Good Luck with that, ive been trying to fit mine for weeks, its an absolute pig if you want it for PVP, even then PVE isnt easy to fit for.

643 Def. Cap Stable with AB off. 16 mins with it on
537 DPS with Barrage. Tho Doesnt hit as far as when you had the ambient rigs on it should still be enough to get most of the pesky sleeper ships.
Switched the drones for hobs since they do more dmg as well. Not sure how much T2 rigs will cost after this patch tho. But yeah that will easily be able to tank C3's.

Hmm that looks like it will do the job, the range shouldnt be a problem, its got the speed to get into range, i just figured the ambits would save time lol
