I wouldnt say that's got anything to do with it to be honest. The scoreline does not reflect the play.

Not really anything to do with Alonso this one imo. Liverpool have had plenty of attacks and chances and just havent put it away. Alonso wouldnt have made too much of a difference...another quality striker on the other hand...well..

Fair enough. Just seems to be a pretty poor start to the season. No disrespect to Spurs or Villa, but Liverpool should at least be getting a point from these games and running them close.
