Once again I think the worrying thing was that when Liverpool were behind you looked at the bench and just couldnt see anyone there who might be able to come on and turn a match. Squad just doesnt have enough quality depth.

Are you even watching the same match? Did Kuyt hit the post from near point blank? Did Kuyt have a clear header which he hit directly at Friedel? Did Kuyt also have that chance about 5 mins ago from near point blank?

Face it, Liverpool have been awful.

No free flowing football, no opening up of Villa's defence, Torres looks like he's lost his bottle, Lucas is pure comedy, Kuyt is worse than Park and you bring on Voronin to save a game. There is no chance Liverpool will win this title.

Thats not the point of the post though was it? The point was how many chances Liverpool had during the match, not the quality of their side or the title chances. You openly declared that Liverpool had 1 chance at goal, which anyone who watched the match could clearly see wasnt the case...no good trying to divert that claim now by going off on another tangent.

I think Park is woeful, but quite frankly Kuyt is appauling and what's more comical is that Pool fan's seem to forgive him everything because he 'works hard'.

I'd rather a dead one legged horse play on the right wing than Dirk Kuyt.
