you mean 2-2 ?
i think it depends on what kind of character he has. If he is just meleeing the bugbears then no no no no !! It will take you too long to kill them . Your weapons and armour need lots of repairing and basically its a lot of effort.

If you want souls quick when you are low level Alex Get soul arrow. Up your magic. Goto 1-1 take out the blue knights and take out red eyes knight for guaranteed 2k minimum. (the bugbears sometimes only give 650 ish each) You will end up with over 3k each run on the red eye knight because you kill enemies on the way to him.

Heres how you kill red-eye when you are low level. Equip thief ring. inch closer to him until you can target him - hopefully thats before he can run at you. Start shooting at him with soul arrow AND backing away because he will be charging you. On your 3rd or 4th hit with soul arrow you will stagger him and take off a big amount of his hp.

If you get too close you'll be dead - if you can get the purple flame shield that helps a little with blocking his attacks but basically if he is close enough to melee you you'll be dead....

6 minutes each time but i took a shortcut that opens after you kill the boss of 1-1.

Yeah 2-2, but your probably right 1-1 would be better especially as the red knight gives you 2K, shame all the others are so low. On the other hand 4-1 isn't bad for farming souls as the skeli's should give you a fair few souls especially the black ones....

Temple Knight level nine with a halberd and cutlass lol

You really do need to level your character up, maybe run 1-1 a few times before tackling any other level's. Alternatively consume the 1-1 boss's soul for 1400 souls which you give u a couple of level's? U do know u can consume all soldier/hero souls u find in the level's for addition souls?

Doing that will deny you access to the Scraping Spear (I think) on your first playthrough. Extremely useful weapon against invading Phantoms as 2 or 3 hits from that guarantee a hefty repair bill!

For me, I think I was Soul Level 12, maybe a bit more when I killed the Tower Knight the first time. I remember doing it fairly soon after i'd killed the first boss in world 1. One cheap way to get souls at your point, is keep entering 1-2 and letting the red dragon kill the stuff on the bridge for you, then just run back to the nexus.

If you have the theif ring and have killed the tower knight u can spawn in there and 1 hit kill the 2 blue phantoms, if wearing the avarice ring you get 528 souls per kill.

Does having a pure white character tendency unlock any special routes, as i have just got it pure white ( got the friends ring ) after killing a couple more invading players.

Does anyone elses WT change randomly??? Sometimes when i load my game up i will check my WT, i tend to farm quite a lot so spend a few hours just gathering items and learning different tactics for different monsters and battling the AI... Even without dying or killing any bosses when i load my game again the next time all my WT have changed in someway... Any Ideas?

Aside from the ring, the only thing it should affect is the damage bonuses on the Soulbrand/Demonbrand/North Regalia sword.

Two possible reasons I think; WT changes will only take place if you quit to the nexus and re-enter the world or, some people have reported that since one of the patches if you quit while in the nexus, theres a chance for WT to be reset to neutral. Apparantly the fix is to always quit while in a world instead, but I'm not 100% sure if this is actually the case.

True, but as that demon soul have no other uses, I would consume now as the 1400 souls are going to be more valuable to you, and use it for the spear on the second playthrough.

I would counter that it will give you a massive advantage against Phantoms and would allow you to build up a bit of experience against them. The souls would be useful, but 1-1 and 1-2 can be easily farmed at low levels.

Well I did some research and apprently there is a bug where all your WT is reset to neutral if you quit out at the nexus, some claim it happens if you quit out in worlds too and that WT is only safe if playing in offline mode...

But mine arent resetting to neutral... I had been working on getting Boletaria to Pure BT... I think I was about 2 stages in to BT, when i logged back on I was 2 stages into White Tendency???

Defeated BP Lord Rydell, wow he was seriously tough. One wack with his pole and your dead, but to make it worse your stuck in tight corridors meaning I couldn't use a large sword to much effect.

Also what I didn't know was when a world in in BWT the game adds addition enemies, all BP's.

Only world 5 left to do, which I'm dreading as I hate 5-2 and am not looking forward to meeting BP Vinland :-/

Well I'm up to level 16 now...think I put a few soul levels into the wrong stats..woops.

The Red-Eyes knight still skewers me in seconds though, I dont have any decent miracles/ranged weaponry/rings to counteract him (am using the cling ring and the load carried one right now), and he batters my shield aside like paper.

Tried tower knight again and basically loaded, jumped left and then got skewered!

Just 1 more point into dex then i can use the white bow, needs 30 str and 24 dex, not sure if i should upgrade my lvl 7 compound longbow to a lava bow as im doing about 200 dmg with 1 arrow on the shadowlurkers in world 4 and the lava bows stats are pretty low.
Still havent done world 5 yet and need to kill the end boss in world 4 and im lvl 76/8

What order did you do the bosses in after 1-1 on NG+? I'm tempted to try the tower knight again using magic however I get the feeling my ass will be handed to me once more :p.

Pretty sure I headed for the Armoured spider and then the Flamelurker to get Ed open asap. In fact I'm pretty sure I only went after the Tower Knight once I had the soul from the Dragon God.

You should have the Theif's ring as it's located in 1-1. This ring is your best friend in the game and should be equipped at all times :D

Where's it hiding? Only area I dont think I've been is right in front of those dragons, because Id die instantly, and passed red-eyes/spear knight.
Still feel a little stupid I put 2 levels into magic when I should have put it into faith, or another stat lol

Think i'll try that then. I know the Armoured Spider can be killed cheaply too which will certainly help :p.

Just after the Blue Knight, after the fog at the bottom the stairs looking over the balcony and u should see it, jump over....

Will have to have a look round near all the blue knights then, Im guessing you mean the one where you go up the tower, and theres one directly in front of you as you come out, with a doorway (initially with fog) next to him, on your right (if you carry on past him you read redeyes).

It's the one nearest the red knight, in fact the ring is where you helped Ostava (or whatever his name is), but you can only get to it by jumping over the balcony (there's a soldier there who throws a flame touch at some barrels in front of you).
