Gun Clubs in Vegas?

I normally just lurk on here but this thread piqued my interest cos I permanently left the UK for dreary old USA.

Would you guys consider doing a week long "gun holiday" package catered to Brits, for maybe $1000 plus lodgings? You can shoot as much as you want 24/7, just have to pay for the ammo. It would be a very large out door area where you can do room clearances, shoot from cars, 1000 yards with the Barett etc. with proper training. If you look on youtube for IPSC or "3 gun" you would get an idea.

You'd get a "buffet" of handguns, full-auto, silencers, tracers, rifles, shotguns and tannerite (youtube it).

I've been playing with the idea of starting a business like for a while but don't know if it would really be viable. The downside is this is the rural midwest and there is absolutely nothing else do do around here in terms of holiday activities.

Yes.

Get the turret gun though, my friend got it, chain loaded, looked hilarious him firing it. I also didnt realise how incredibly loud guns are even through headphones. and they smell awful, the smoke from the ak nearly made me wretch, although i was very hungover.

which is the "turret" gun ?

depends what you mean

flight from about £400

hotels from £20 a night to huge amounts

spends, I work on about $400 a day but I don't scrimp, you could do it on quite a bit less

I was going to say wow you spend a lot, but using the old exchange rate I budget about the same. $300per day next drip. Damned rates!

In order:

1. 12gauge shotgun of some kind, may be an M3?
2. Beretta CX4 "Storm"
3. Can't remember the name of the handgun
4. Everyone knows this one :D it's the .44 calibre though.
5. M4 with holographic sights (very cool)
6. MP5
7. M249 "SAW" :D

I also had a go of a Remington sniper rifle but didn't film it.

number 3 is a glock with an aftermarket silver-sided slide. the U-Shaped rear sight highlight is very distinctive.
number 5 isn't actually an M4, it's a Colt Carbine (version M733) with a full-size M16A2 stock. it looks like either a bushnell holosite or an EoTech :)

Why is the M249 SAW good then seeing as it is a smaller calibre than all the other machine guns ?

I'd reckon it's due to it being able to fire more shots per kg of ammo than a 7.62 MG such as the M60, and also if you're desperate, and have a belt of M249 ammo you can whip the bullets out and pop them in your M16 mag, make them last a bit longer. Same calibre.

Went last week

had a go with the M249 SAW ( dont see the big deal with this )

a pump action 12 guage shotgun

and a Desert Eagle:p

oh and my $400 a day spending money sugestion proved to be a bit short of the mark

I went to the gun store whilst i was in vegas a couple of weeks ago. They didnt ask for id at all, and we were 4 young looking lads, i personally look no older than 14 or 15. They just let me shoot whatever.
There was a man inquiring about the age limit next to us and the woman said you have to be at least 18 to fire a pistol but you can be whatever age you like to fire a machine gun. Absolutely ridiculous law.lol

I fired a deagle and ak47, $20 for deagle and $50 for the ak. SO much fun. Deagle is much much more fun than AK though. I would definitely say get a desert eagle, fire it one handed if your instructor will let you, its hilarious.

Remember that the sound is amplified because you are indoors, although even outside they are loud. I remember not forgetting to put my headgear on for one shot indoors once, never again!:p The smell isn't that bad, it's quite nice to me.

When I went last november I was feeling semi flush but I would love to be able to spend that much a day (and more) and be fine with it. Having said that the day I was in Vegas I only spent about £80. Was planning on going to a gun store to shoot but we only found where one was at the end of the day so didn't go in the end. I'd love to go somewhere that you could own a handgun and semi-auto MG and shoot as much as you like. Was the range as short as it looked in Scary Squirrels video? It seems very short, usually for a rifle it would be 25+m.
