GIRLS SUCK

jeez! If that were happening to me, i'd coat the outside of my condoms in chili powder/tobasco sauce!

It is really tempting to get some creative revenge when you first find out :p but it's best to be the better person and get out of there, however much they've upset and betrayed you.

Minxy, I wish I could offer some advice on your situation - all I can say is I hope you're out of there soon, and put as much pressure on him as is necessary for him to do the right thing. Failing that move in with friends while you apply for the court order.

We lived 2 flights up, and needless to say when I found out, his stuff was all the way down the stairs, boy that was satisfying :D

stuff

So again....I say men suck.

Make the most of your friends because without mine I really would have been lost. I find it hard to offer any further advice, just know that you aren't the only mug out there.
I think it's pretty obvious its not "men suck" or "women suck", but people.

I've written off close to £10,000 from my last relationship because I know I won't get it back. Not quite on the same scale as a house, but its still a significant amount of money, and some rather personal and sentimental items. If you feel like a chat with another mug, feel free to email me.

Incidentally, can you not sell your half of the house, if not to him to the bank? That might get his arse in gear.

Mixy, just bring another bloke home and let him stay there (maybe setup with a friend). If your ex has a girlfriend there, there is no reason you can't have a boyfriend.

OR

invest in some decent speakers and turn up up FULL blast with obnoxious music :)

Reading this thread just makes me realise why some people choose to be single constantly.

Some of us don't choose ;)

But stories like this thread actually make me happy to be single sometimes :)

Sorry to read about some of the problems in this thread. Just let yourself cry in a corner away from people OP. Might make you feel better...

I've just come back to this thread and I'm really gobsmacked by the number of replies. I'm sorry for hijacking the thread but at the time I was struggling to hold it in. I'm taking every day as it comes, using every weekend to go back to Bucks and to see my friends and family but I'm tied to Sussex if I want to keep my job and having really landed on my feet with this career (quite by chance) I'd be a fool to jack it in. Work proves to be a great distraction and source of stability.

Previously I could never understand why people wanted to be single but this experience has made me realise how easy it is to make you doubt people no matter how close you think you are to them. If only there was an easy answer for safeguarding yourself from being **** on.

Thank you all for the responses. Just as a side note the ex doesn't post on here however another of my ex's does indeed use this site and he has an MR2 so that is kinda freaky Dunk! But he and I are still very good friends.

I just have a memory for these sort of things :o.

Might just have got you confused with someone else, but there was a 'couple' who post quite often in Motors, last I seen they were currently doing up an MR2 and have around 2-3 on their drive way :p.

Edit: Unless it is actually you, and I was wrong about the couple part!

Reading these posts does really bring a lot of feelings back, all i can ever say is that we all go through heartbreak at one time it happened to me a couple years ago and it still hurts to the point where im moving away to London for a fresh start (luckily im in a positon where im pretty much able to up and leave), i find at these times you learn who your friends are.

And Minxy stay in Sussex there are plenty of great guys out there you just need to find one
