Im confused as to which SSD I should be looking at. I want one for my boot drive - lots of gaming etc.

Looking at the 64GB ones as 32GB is too small for me.

Budget is £150 but would prefer less. Theres too much conflicting info on which SSD's are better.

Want one which will support the new Windows 7 TRIM thing.

Thanks,

Adam

crucial m225, consensus is this is best bang for buck at the moment.
if you are putting your games on it as well as os then you really want the 128gb version i would say.

I wouldn't consider that Samsung drive.

The 80Gb intel is a good buy though, if you can afford the extra, as is the crucial at 64Gb.

Are these SSD' faster than the Raptors? If so by how much. Such an huge amount of money for the sizes.

Sequential transfer speeds are somewhat faster, but random reads and writes are up to a hundred times faster. The two technologies can't compare, really.

Whats up with the sammy?

And aren't those kingston ones based on jmicron?

I take it the intel mainstream beats even the OCZ ones?
