From the angle I saw, it looked like he got the touch and then went down straight away before Alumnia connected, could be wrong, but that's how it looked.

Like I say, I think that he may well have started to fall before Almunia touched him. The difference, though, between this one and Eduardo's is that Rooney got caught, whether he was going down or not. Eduardo was never touched.
