Yep, I'm going just waiting for my club wembley tickets to be sent.
As a Patriots fan I have high hopes and with Brady back and hopefully 100% he has a good team around him that should be able to take them all the way this year.
As for the favre debate I think when he left the packers that should have been it for him. He will clearly go in to the hall of fame but I feel that from the end of his final year at the packers to this point are damaging not only his stats but his reputation as a great player and the will he won't he play just seems to annoy me even more. I hope he does well at the Vikings but I think the surgery he had done in the off season should have a been a sign to just retire. If he want's to be involved with the game then why not coach.
Although this will be a sad year with no Madden for NBC's coverage.
I have always taken an interest in the NFL, I started to get interested in it from the late 80's, early 90's although I lost touch with the sport during the late 90's but when I started watching it again on Five I found the way that Madden was able to present the tactics and rules of the game very easy to understand. Even to this day I am still learning new stuff about this game. And have to say that both Mike Carlson and Nick Halling are both excellent analysts and present the game well for the British audience offering something for both novices and more experienced viewers.
But if the patriots don't get to the finals and win I would like it to be a complete unknown team that over achieved a bit like the tampa bay rays did last year in the MLB season. Who knows maybe Detroit can turn it around this season a bit like Miami did last season.
Who knows maybe we will see the cowboys finally string a decent season together assuming romo can stay consistant and now that TO has left maybe the team is more balanced. Although I have to say the new cowboy's stadium does look good. I can't believe they have a 160 foot 1080p screen dangling 95 feet off the ground over the field. The NFL have even had to put some rules in place incase the ball hits it.
But all I am interested in is seeing some good games and finally seeing a game live. October can't come soon enough.

I hope SKY plan to go back to the old format for the replays Monday nights. The format last year was horrible, I hope they would bring back the shortened versions of the matches as I can't stay awake long enough to watch them on a Sunday anymore.
I know mate i am also intrigued to see how he gets on. Tbh i don't think Vick ever lived up to the hype put on him, as you said he was great at running with the ball but it become a less effective weapon, over time teams had worked him out. His last season with the Falcons wasn't that impressive but he was fun to watch for the fans of the game to see a QB doing the things he was, made things interesting
I very much doubt he will ever be like the old Vick and even if he was, he'd never take McNabbs place, Mcnabbs has always been overal the better QB.

Oakland Schedule:
Week 1: San Diego
Sorry but I don't think the Raiders stand a chance in this game. The Chargers should blow them away even though it's in Oakland.
Week 2: @Kansas City
This game is winnable. The Chiefs are not a great team any more and they let go of Gonzalez (or he got injured or something)
Week 3: Denver
Another winnable game I think. The Broncos are there for the taking this year and I doubt they will even post a winning record at the end of the season
Week 4: @ Houston
Houston are looking decent this year so I doubt the Raiders will win this one.
Week 5: @ NY Giants
No Chance of winning this one sorry
Week 6: Philly
Another tough game which I can see the Eagles running away with this one I'm afraid.
Week 7: New York Jets
Winnable game. The Jets are another average team this year IMO
Week 8: @ San Diego
Not going to win this one sorry
Week 9: BYE
Week 10: Kansas
A winnable game.
Week 11: Cincinnati
Not quite sure about this one but should be winnable
Week 12: @ Dallas
Can't see the Raiders winning this one although if the Cowboys have already thrown away a shot at the playoffs then anything is possible

No chance. The Steelers are too good

Can't see the Raiders winning this one either

Don't like the look of Raiders going to Denver. Broncos will probably struggle on the road this year but should be good enough at home.

Week 17: Baltimore
Ravens should still be in the playoff hunt going in to this so I can't see the Raiders winning this one. Ravens defense will be good this season as always.
Overall: 6 - 10 (1 win better than last season) Good enough for you?
Kitbag used to do them years ago but I used the official NFL store although not sure if they deliver to the UK or how expensive it is.
They do and its very expensive..shipping costs plus you will probably get hit with import fees.

luckily they are fairly local to me.
They don't have a massive selection but generally have the common tops. Alternatively give them a call and they can sometimes special order items in.
ESPN America do them as well but stock doesn't look great at the moment.
