Well, in his defense, he did have a point - alien to the rest of us mind you. Semantics are fun things!*facepalm*

I'm about half way through, one of my many books, pushing on 15 now that I need to finish.
But I so far have found it very good, I am a stant atheist.
God exist? I don't know.

the primary reason why im an agnostic. its the only logical choice for me. theres to many to choose from anyway and not 1 can give provide me with definitive proof that their religion is the true one. i believe you can be moral and just person without man-made religion. if he does exist i dont think he'll be angry with me for sitting on the fence![]()
Well nothing wrong with that at all is there? You're comfortable with your religion of non-religion. You should allow people to believe what they believe - as long as no one forces you to believe in something you do not.
I just become disillusioned when people don't think rationally, and when what i see - as something so disbelievable - continues within the majority and adversely effects society.
And being an athiest is dinstinctly non-religious![]()
Bah. “Logic is the beginning of wisdom, not the end”It's non-beleivable from an objective critical stance, yes it cannot be absoloutely ruled out - but logic comes very close to ruling out all man made religions.
Anyway, this row could go on forever so i think i'll leave it at this![]()

But how do we know (if God exists) that he/she is benevolent? What's to say that God doesn't enjoy causing pain and suffering? Not saying he/she does, but why do we assume that he/she is there to make our life better?
Quoting the fictional character Spock in a religious debate?! I can't determine whether that's risible or geniusBah. “Logic is the beginning of wisdom, not the end”
I'm agnostic and am tolerant of religious people who are in turn tolerant of my beliefs.
Otherwise they can lick my balls.
