I think that's what he's saying dude. You'll learn more offline, because the play style is different, but you can then apply that knowledge to online play...

At Trocadero the left hand machine has a Jap style ball top stick with a square plate and a really light spring action, so it feels similar to a console Mad Catz stick. The right hand machine is the wierd one - it has baseball bat shaped stick with a much heavier action and no discernable restrictor plate.

At Casino, both cabs are setup with Sanwa sticks and buttons.

With regard to online vs. offline - that's what I meant - you can learn proper spacing and footsies in the arcade, and it will be equally as effective online.

I agree with you im getting to the point where i get bored don't give it my all when playing online, but offline its a different story, that how street fighter is meant to be played :D
 
I've no problem with the SF chat but please do keep it in the other thread as I will have to go through each post checking if scores have been posted and confirmed etc

Please post scores and the other person confirm at the same time if possible so I can then update that score onto the table, otherwise I see one score and have to search around for confirmation which makes it abit more difficult! Thanks :)

Don't worry about it he's quite good, I picked him or cav to actually win this, but the fact I came out on top in our league games (just) when in reality our games are always 50-50 gives me a good chance to finish above him.

I'm looking fwd to our games though ;) and my games with tony. :)
 
even tho it was 3-0 i would like to think i gave him a good game

could have won a couple of rounds got him down to 5% health on many occasions just couldn't finish him off

true say mate ur timing with gief is phenomenal and did catch me many times with the utra and piledriver. Only thing id say mate if you work on your defence, you would be very tough to face... Well played Sem hope to have some friendlies with you soon
 
NEW RULE!!! (PLEASE READ)

Due to a result in the PC league, which resulted in a 3-2 win for player 1 but player 2 scoring a perfect so he gained a bonus point and player 1 lost a point, therefore making it 3-2 to the losing player(!?!), it bought to my attention the rule is flawed so no more bonus points!!! Don't think anyone got one yet anyway so its ok :)

However, any perfects will still be noted so please do mention them, thanks :)

ggs mate, had to play very cautious against you which I know for a zangief player can be frustrating but otherwise I would have got flattened in 2-3 moves :p

I watched you play my bro btw and I knew he would have trouble with you, his Ken is far too reckless even though I was telling him don't jump in, don't do that, he didn't pay any attention to me though lol.
