=== Corsair H50 High-Performance CPU Watercooler (Socket LGA775/1366) ===

WC-001-CS_400.jpg

The Corsair Cooling™ Hydro Series H50 CPU Cooler gives you the power of liquid cooling in a compact, easy-to-install package. You get superior cooling for higher overclocking performance without the complexity of traditional liquid-cooling systems.

Air-based CPU coolers simply aren’t as efficient as water coolers, and can take up too much valuable space. The compact, closed-loop Hydro Series H50 takes your CPU’s temperature to new lows and takes up less room doing it.

- Pre-filled, closed-loop system is easy to install
- Copper CPU cooling plate for maximum cooling performance
- Integrated pump and reservoir is sealed for zero maintenance and improved leakage protection
- Large 120mm radiator for fast heat dispersion
- High-efficiency, low-noise 120mm fan for drawing cool air across the radiator
- Two-year warranty

I installed my H50 yesterday and it's 8C lower(35C idle) than the Noctua(42C idle, 65C load) I had, haven't tried it under load yet or even Prime etc, but I'm expecting to see a similar drop(I hope) in temp's if not more, and it's extremely quiet aswell. Personally, I think money well spent. Currently have it Push/Pull with 2 Noctua NF-P12 fans as intake, going to try it as exhaust tonight to see if there's a difference it temp's.

How are you finding noise levels versus the Noctua

intake is bad wise move. Best use as a exhaust. But, try full load with intake and then try again to the exhaust to see the compare different in temperatures.

Good luck.

Dusto, It's a hell of a lot quieter mate!!! can't even hear the pump working at all as it's virtually silent (even after installing it last night, I thought it was gonna shutdown cos there was very little sound coming from it which worried me:eek: , but after reading some reviews saying how quiet it is, I was reassured to say the least:D) as for the fans, they are barely audible and are not a full pelt yet anyway.

Sounds excellent :D, I'm inordinately tempted now. It comes with various mounts so you can transfer it between a few different builds hopefully?

Just a quick question, are you guys leaving the pre-applied thermal paste on or are you putting your own stuff ?

Just wanted to know as i have some Artic cooling MX3 lying around and thought it might be better.
