Dell S2409W 24"

I had my HP alongside an no-name (well I can't remember brand) 22" TN, HP looked far better.

Had my HP beside a 24" Samsung, Sammy seemed to have better negative viewing angles.

I'm sorely tempted just to order one. I was going to look at the 26" LG screen, but if that does turn out to be an IPS panel it's still £115 more than this.

My trusty 19" mitsi diamond pro is on the way out.

Thats the exact same monitor I upgraded from - trust me, the difference is spectacular - and thats saying a lot coz up to this point my Mitsubishi has been the finest monitor I've ever used!!

just get it mate

people sometimes moan about viewing angles, but tbh it's a pc screen, you're either looking head on at it or you're doing it wrong :p

The only thing I've ever noticed on the TNs I've had is the color shift when looking UP at them. Desktop use and lying on the bed watchin a film have both been fine and thats pretty much the use of em xD

My pair have just arrived, considering I paid less than the cost of the LG26 for the pair I think I made the right choice, also leaves me room to go 2 way if/when the 58**s prove to work properly without a TH2G

very nice mate!also got mine today at the bargain price :)

the stand is a bit wobbly but apart from that very nice indeed!

I'm probably going to be picking one of these up next week, I just wish it had 2x HDMI for my 360 / PS3. It seems it's only the top end Dells that have that luxury or the Freeview integrated panels which I'm not totally sold on.

I've had mine for about 6 months now and whilst it is a very good screen for the money I certainly don't think that it is as good as a lot of you are making out.

For example watching movies on it is pretty poor though it is fine for PC gaming. Both the PS3 and 360 look washed out when connected via HDMI and I couldn't resolve this through the panels adjustments.

I think it depends upon what you are used to really. I have my consoles etc hooked up to a 50" Pioneer and previously used a 20" NEC LCD PC screen. And obviously this screen hasn't a hope of even coming close to their image quality nor would I expect it to for the price.

For a budget screen though I am still happy with the purchase, just don't go expecting too much from it.
