Why is this image funny?

Somebody stole the original clock?

It has to be something to do with the clock because of the 2nd picture and the 2nd clock looks smaller with a bigger frame.

I still don't find it funny though...

The clock tower has clock faces on four sides; the first image is the front and the second is the back.

I'm sorry what? That's a pretty complex mathematical solution for what appears to be, for most people, a pretty simple funny picture!!!

And I don't get it...my head hurts. I've just spent 10 minutes trying to lean about regex which, up until 15 minutes ago, I'd never heard of in my life! Owww, my poor brain!!!

It's an unfunny picture but people are saying it's funny so others keep asking why. For the record, there is nothing funny about the picture, what is funny is people's reactions to the posts about it.
