Army fitness

Having your parents telling you what to do is different...

Most the time parents get on your nerve because they are your parents...

Not really the same as getting told what to do by a senior ranking figure within the armed forces

lighten up bud, attitude like that wont get you far either

Attitude like that eh, i like it :)

i had a doctor telling me i wouldnt even be getting in the army, even friends and parents telling me 3 years ago, and where am i now ? in the army, so dont tell me what i have a chance with and what i dont, thanks

you keyboard commando's thinking you know someone just by reading a few posts, love it

Its hard to use expression in a post you know without using so many smileys you loook like a ***, expression is normaly what determines seriousness from a joke, 99.9% of my posts are in a joking manner, this is why i find the internet amusing, 1 single smiley face on a post can determine wether someone thinks your a **** or a nice guy.

Perhaps you'll be a parent yourself one day. Then you'll realise what a silly comment that was.

i will not be telling them what career path to take i gurantee that, parents do over exagerate when they hear army, i have parents you know, and ive lived with them for the last 3 years since ive been saying im going, and what they do, is called over exaggerating.

some of you you dont know what a joke is if it smacked you in the face, im not that much of a **** to tell parents to keep there noes out, you should maybe read the whole thread next time, because the post above you might explain it to you sherlock.

agree to disagree.

this has gone far off topic now anyway so /endthread

I know what you mean, most of the people I've told about joining just think "omg you will die" as soon as you tell them.

Yup, parents or friends its still over exagerating, ive had about 5 people after ive said it and they have said "But i dont want you to die" its over the top, i dont agree with putting fear into your kids because if you say things like that, thats what you are doing, wether you dont want them to go or not, its wrong imo, your suposed to support your kids, and if the army is what your kid wants to do, support them, there old enough to do near enough anything themselves without holding the parents hand.

all parents are different, this is just my opinion, im still young yet, im sure ill experience it myself one day.

offtopic again , /thread
