the Asus P7P55D Deluxe is my fave so far
expect a clocking rundown from me at midnight
also i will review the boards i have used as much as i can to give everyone a good idea
mmm, was expecting cheaper, but i suppose launch price and everything...
If you had the choice of i7 or i5, what would you choose? Is there that much difference between i5 and i7?
WHat do you do on your PC? If you do a lot of encoding/graphics work that sort of thing then the i7 on x58 with the HT and greater bandwidth will benefit you.
For a gaming system, save some cash with the i5 and put what you save towards a 5870![]()
I was hoping for £150
but i'll not argue for a tenner, ordering shortly. I paid around 150 for my E8400 iirc at release so it seems fair to me.
Forget it, I'm going i5. Better start saving![]()
Not too bad really.
(Although, a decent cooler will be required as well for overclocking).
Of which there aren't any at the moment, I think I'll be using stock cooling for a while until the Corsair H50 1156 brackets are available
