Derren Brown - outdone himself this time?

I thought subliminal messages were outlawed on TV.
Many many years ago on ITV a subliminal message was shown in Spitting Image and the feed was cut until the end of the show.
I saw it live at the time and replayed the video I had recorded.
It basically said that the crew were all sex gods and other stupid stuff.
The thing was that Spitting Image producers got into a lot of trouble over it and I thought that subliminals were banned.

the 39 ball seems to be bigger than the rest. and the platform the balls are on isn't strait in which the 39 ball is on the highest end.

The bit they are on obviously isn't wide enough, and so, the last ball is sitting a little high, stuck between the side and another ball.

Hmm... if you see the youtube video above... at 5.09 onwards - doesn't it look like the camera begins to stop shaking for about 5 or 6 seconds - as if it's been put on a stand... Strange...

It's been shown before on TV, so they must have cleared with the proper regulators.

When he gets to the bit where all 6 numbers are drawn and before they get sorted numerically and he writes them down - watch the left most ball very closely - it appears to lift up slightly...

60" and SkyHD - sat at a distance of about 4' at the moment. :D

Exactly what i can see.

I've not long had my eyes tested too and got almost perfect vision !

Im willing to bet money I can see those balls move.

To all those who think it's camera trickery; I think you're wrong. If you know anything about DB, you would realise that he is not a fraud (which camera tricks would be). He will, no doubt, have a simple explanation, but I would be shocked if it were simple camera tricks.

Right guys, make sure you're all on 4 mins 47 seconds...... keep cliking it there so it repeats and repeats fro mthat point.... (to make sure you have the point i mean the commentator should sound like hees saying "...RICh, ball number 32!" or something like that.

Right.....as you repeat those 2 - 3 seconds...watch the top left of the TV screen as a focal point.....there is a blip in the camera.....an edit it seems (it happens just before derren seems to arch a bit) . We will see though...!! :p

Nope, tried and tried. Nothing moves, I do see, which feels a little odd, the camera pause for the slightest instant. Its noticeable because it feels like they're deliberately moving the frame around throughout.

i still can't believe he did it

What did he do? He certainly didn't predict anything... the trick was to get the right balls on that stand a few seconds after they were drawn.

A prediction would involve calling the numbers before the machine - he didn't do that.

This.

The camera trick ideas are just not what he does at all.

I still don't think it was camera trickery :p As people have said it isn't what Derren Brown is all about - I guess we shall see on Friday ;)
