ETA of Samsung F3's?

Got any links? I've seen nothing yet except a few forum posts...
Try google shopping the drive here in the UK and you don't get a single hit :(

Nothing handy. GIYF.

I think they're selling the F3 as a performance model. If you have extra platters for 1.5Tb you'd lose performance so they sell the F2 model for storage.

No. of platters doesn't affect performance. Don't know why they're not doing a 1.5TB F3 yet, it'd make sense even with the EcoGreen.

I would have been tempted to go with this logic. Controller firmware and limitations taken out of the equation, if each platter has its own heads, then it shouldn't matter how many platters are being read? (Until bandwidth becomes an issue?)
higher data density = more bandwidth

Doesn't higher density increase seek slightly as the head had to be more precise on the smaller track??

I hope to see reviews of this soon seeing as I need a new hard drive in time for Windows 7 and this one has been tickling my fancy. I've always did prefer Samsung hard drives as they have never failed me yet.
