The *Official* Eve Online Thread

Mmm, I need to find something different to do in game. I was planning on saving up for a new ship then venturing into lowsec so I can afford to replace my shop if I lose it, but I'm still not sure what I'd actually do in lowsec. I'm thinking about the whole faction warfare instead as a first taste of PvP, is this worth it? I've not done much else in-game besides missions, which is probably why I'm feeling a little burned out.

Looks like now would be a good time to train cloaking :D
Get them T2 special lasers warmed up and waiting at the edge of the belt.

Are you running a grid implant to make that all fit? It's quite strange, eft is telling me I can't fit it due to grid unless I nail in an implant but the 'all V' character can fit it. I can't see which skill is making the difference.

It's showing me 1735/1674.99 for me and 1735/1820.31 if I use All level V

Cou;d it be the Engineering subsystem? Every level will give a 5% power grid increase no? So level 5 will have 25% PG bonus, that might be it?

Question on the setup.

Cap battery over the rechargers?

Tbh i had no idea when i layed the isk down building mine up, pretty much identicle setup aside from using ion's up top, sansha chargers over the batteries, core x actives over the t2's, and ds resistance, and t2 versions of the rigs.

I ask because the caps not so stable. I use this ship for lv2-3 missions, the odd lv4, stable cap would be nice.

Yeah i have that setup on an ishtar, had the feeling it only kinda worked though because all you were doing was running the dual rep and hardners, with a couple of chargers on top of the 2 battery combo.

No cap loss through f1-5 ect.

In truth i hadn't considered it though, when i can get back in the game ill check it out, wifi on this campsite, no p2p... no eve.

That'll be the one. Nice setup btw.

Thanks :)

Basically what vader said, the cap batterys provide a lot more recharge than adding cap rechargers would do.

The setup ive posted is fully cap stable with everything running at around 36% iirc dont know how well it would work for lv4s since its using blasters. Then again i dont really do missioning so im not sure.
