thats quite good then, the one thing about my Nightmare is it will cap out quite easily... being lasers and shield tanking - yet to invest in a second Gist A-Type X-Large Shield Booster but it might now be worth looking into :D

Do we have any indication of how much the Republic Fleet Typhoon might cost LP/Isk wise for either the ship outright or the BPC?
 
I got my alts Loki maxed out for gang bonuses now. I think the bonuses are borged as it doesn't give anymore than the claymore.

Warp disrupter range on my arazu is still 100km with overload and faction point, I thought i would get more because of the 5%/lvl bonus the loki should give.

Loki is a great ship though, it has the probing bonuses of covert ops, gang bonuses of a claymore, can warp cloaked and can turn on a dime.

I took it into Old Man Star last night to give gang bonuses to our fleet. I had my main in a Domi and sat the Loki in a safe and only uncloaked to switch the bonus mods on when we needed it. All were very happy with their extra speed, longer ranged webs and points, 28% less sig radius and 15% agility bonus.

Great ship, it can scout, find mission runners, safely haul expensive mods and give gang bonuses ........ all with the same fit. Well worth 700m isk fitted.

Any chance you could post your fit please? they appear to be constantly coming down in price, was 700m for just the ship not too long ago :p

Sure, I'll post the setup when I get a home/time.

I expected to pay around 1.1bill when I built it and was pleasantly surprised.

Had a laugh last night with it. I was a running a lvl5 with 2 thanatos when I seen a brutix on scan. I probed it out with my alt in his loki and warped the loki in cloaked at 20km to have a look, the mission had no gate. And, one of my carriers had a point fitted ..heyhey.

You can guess what happened next, only thing I couldn't understand is why the brutix didn't warp out in the time it took to get a lock.

At least he can tell his mates and have a laugh about it......... like mine did.

Which basically creamed every mission I threw at it. Of course, I have a better setup now, but that's life. ;)
 
While I'm here, I'd like to draw the eyes of everyone to a little project I've been enhancing for a while now, http://skills.txsi.co.uk. It's a web based app that tracks your training, shows what you can fly and what certificates you have. Obviously, I'd like more people to add their characters and report any feedback they have via the little tab on the left.

I chucked one of mine up there to see if it was working. As usual the Alliance tourney got me playing again but found myself back in the npc corp and have lost interest again :)

heh yeah, Mervsan, looking forward to giving him a ridiculous body to match if ambulation ever comes about :)

I'll probably see if the corp I was in will have me back after I disappeared due to inactivity, that may get me hooked for a while again.
 
just cancelled my 2 subs again, played solid for one month in a player corp trying to get into 0.0, led my monkey's.

didn't play the second month and cancelled before the 3rd.

I still have arguements at work with the childish WoW players, but there just isn't anything that grabs me anymore. :(
 
Hey guys, new player looking to join a corp, I played it a few months and got started, but didn't get engrossed. Giving another go around now so if anyone wants me in heir corp I'm up for anything!
 
hey... is anyone a member of a PvP corp in Molden Heath region?

we had an incident recently where a pirate in a Phantasm was can flipping and greifing a miner or two of ours... so a few members (1 Drake and 1 Tempest Fleet Issue) decided to turn up and shoot back... neither of them were fitted for PVP (scram or web)... so they did enough damage to get him to leave, so the fleet tempest went back to its mission and the drake held around...

Phantasm comes back after 10 minutes with 5m left on the countdown and pops the drake... drake pilot moans in corp chat so i bring a typhoon and someone else baits him with a harbinger... he accepts the bate and starts to flash red so i drop my already aligned typhoon right on top of him (2,000m)... web and scram and AB directly towards him and he goes down like a sack of **** as expected.

3 days later we get a war dec off the pilot... turns out he's gone home to the CEO and as a result we're now landed with a wardec for defending our miners :p - they're now trying to ransom us for 400m... dropped it to 280m later but we cant afford either ;)

So, if there are any PvP corps in the molden heath region who feel like taking on a 25-30 active player (40 player total) PvP corp... they seem to fly some expensive ships and could provide some lol's for someone who's after PvP and some quick isk.
