Derren Brown - outdone himself this time?

Derren was cool when he used to get girls and fake that they'd been in a car accident, or put a man in a video game to kill his friends, and generally scare people ****less.

Yeh it's so going to be a boat. Every second word is boat related - cox for example. The first advert of the last ad break was for a SALE - boats have sails.

If so, that's weird. I instantly thought boat on first sight of the canvas.

Same here actually.

Whether there was some cleverly placed wordplay or not, I'm not sure. But on first viewing I thought boat. The fact that the boats were then inside the picture frame (for the canvas hand over) in the video would suggest that's what he's trying to put across.

I'd expect that as I'd bet money that there's more to it than just the scenic location, he'll no doubt have chosen specific words to point you in that direction from the start of the show, or even earlier.

Edit: Looks like it's been narrowed down to just 4, and none are a boat. Interesting :p

I rewatched that the other day and felt sorry for the guy, he looked scared ****less

Definately.

Trick or Treat was also brilliant, the car crash girl, the guy he kidknapped and left on a moore and forwarded his watch as if he'd slept for days.

Brilliant.

Oh and the underwater one was scary!

Well my freeview has resulted in a complete FAIL for ONLY channel 4 reception whilst every other channel works perfectly fine.

What trickery is this?

What are concentric circles? Circles inside circles?

If so, that's probably due to the things to the left of the canvas.

Exactly, I've never heard of the term. Yet when she was asked what she had drawn the first thing she said was 'concentric' circles

What a load of tosh again :p
