Saw an advert about it today on Sky sports. Launches in Autumn apparently

You will need the relevent tv packages to watch on the 360 as well as sky multiroom or sky broadband unlimited. The same requirements for live watching on the pc.

I really like this feature providing the pricing is right. I ditched sky for freeview a couple of years ago due to only watching a few series on sky one.The money I saved I just rented the discs later on instead.

I'd love to be able to pay a few quid per month for a few select programs and football matches but I doubt it will be realistic pricing. Like just about every extra dashboard feature

£15 - £41 a MONTH for non SKY subscribers, somehow at that price you would have to be desperate

...while all Xbox Live Gold members (in the appropriate areas) will get access to the Sky Player similar to the PC implementation, you will need a Sky subscription with the appropriate channels to view sports and movie content. Look out for more updates at the skyplayer.com/xbox360 site..

Waste of time, TBH. I don't pay for movies/sport on Sky. BBC iPlayer on PS3 is still the best option for me.

Guess I would be happy with just being able to get Sky 1 to watch Stargate Universe. Dropped Sky some years back in favour of freeview as got tired of them never being able to fix dish, and it cost too much anyway.

They haven't detailed how a party watches together yet have they?
is it one subscription gets a party in or everyone needs gold+ a sky sub (more likely).

Im sure with netflix you all have to have be gold and have a sub, it may of changed now though.

well it works well on the tv, I have 2 sky boxes in the house, means someone can be watching something downstairs, upstairs and someone on the pc. Also... the xbox dont need to be in the same house as your sky box, could be brilliant for students?

We were away all week at college - sky player, all the sky sports channels, one of the classroom projectors, amazing champions league coverage!
