I know, silly thing flashed the time for about 0.2 before changing screen though, all I have is this:

Fraps won't work for some reason and I didn't have printscreen due to using an Apple keyboard :p

It's probably rubbish anyway, if my previous effort is anything to go by :D

My first attempt, i am sure i can do better than this.This car does give you more grip and braking control.Will try again once we got time posted from other forum members.

meh typical, just spent all my dosh on a works e46. EA hav'nt made it easy cos each track just has an overall lap record of the fastest speed from any car. if it was on a per car record also storing what stage of upgrade the car was in this would be much more fun.

Tbh it wasnt a great lap . I normally do 1.23 with np and less screaching and better lines but fraps really takes a toll on my machine (amd black dual core and 4 gig of cheap ram )

I lowered the game settings but seems to be more a cpu issue than graphics .

Ok well onto this weeks contest . Firstly there are some rule changes that some may not have noticed . Please stick by these rules . I dont think anyone is trying to cheat but its abit of fun and no prize so play fair guys .

Now onto screenshots . The only screenshot that will be used for entrance into the comp is the last one as shown by Busa

Now i know people are having issues with taking screenshots . (Me to now as mine just come out black) But if you take Raikiri screenshot for example . This is the fastest lap time for that track..Not car!! (btw mate not saying yer cheating ;) ) The reason i say this is i have a sub 49 on this track and even with my Bmw selected it shows that time . Also incar midlap shots are not Ok as you can corner cut .

So play fair and have fune and enjoy . And i think i have some serious competion this week :)

Modifications are allowed. I gave the option to Persil and he's stuck with last week's rules. Again for the reason that it can't be proven that people haven't modified their car.

And going by Persil's screenshot rules, my last entries are invalid as myself included am having trouble taking printscreens and have to use the digital camera :p

Well after a reinstall to fix Shift crashing (btw if anyone suffers "shift has stopped working" as you enter the game after the loading screen just delete the graphics config file in the Shift folder in yer documents (where yer save game is ) ) I also cant get a screenshot now in game . Will try fraps but getting a black screen with prt scr .

If you get that perfect lap just cruise round to the start/finish and sit on the line for the counter to go last lap and have yer camera ready and roll over the line . As the screen is only displayed for a few seconds .

Screenshot rules are this round only . Would be unfair to put it for last week .

From what i have tested the screenshot that Lt Goody does is fine as long as the car is pictured . but preference is to the one ala Busa
