But it's hardly an educated guess. Saying that MOST footballers are scum just makes him sound mean and bitter, and it's only a tabloid opinion he's using as supporting evidence.

So Rooney comes across like a total *****, so what? he IS a total *****, what do you expect? The man's lucky to be a professional sports man, if he weren't he'd be professionally nicking car stereo's in Bootle; it doesn't mean you should tar an entire profession with the same brush based on the attitudes of some high profile tossers.

Ireland in an arse because he lied about his Grandmother Dying to get out of International Duty. This is something you would expect from a 5 year old, not a grown man. He has effectively ruined his International Career by doing so.
