I agree.... like Gervais from time to time but have been known to find him a tad annoying sometimes.

Love Stephen Merchant's parts in Extra's though. Random fact of the evening but he lived next door (well about 6 doors along actually) from my best friend at School (in Hanham, Bristol).

Just looked like a tall weird guy back then (well still does I guess) but was always friendly enough & just nice to see when a local person makes it in life (which he seems to have despite Gervais hogging the limelight).

This...he was good in the Office but outside of that he hasnt been all that funny...his latest movie is pretty dire but all accounts much like his last one.

I think he WAS fantastic, The Office, Extras - brilliant. But now that fame has struck i think he comes across as a bit of a condecending ***** trying too hard to be funny.
