Any good RTS games you can recommend?

Bought it of my mate (well, one of those internet mates you've never met) just now for £2. For that price it hardly matters if the game last me an hour :D

that supcom?

Hope you got forged alliance :D

There's nothing like seeing 20+ heavy shielded air transports dropping in whole armies behind their base, while amphibious Robots emerge from the water and attack the front of their base while offshore artillery smashes their base to pieces :D

Ya, Supcom. Can be had for very cheap now. Should get it tomorrow. Been playing COH for the past hour. Me like very very much.

Quick note, if you do have a multi-core processor and you're playing SupCom, there's an application out that'll make playing more efficient for your processor.

Personally, the only RTS game I still play is Warcraft 3... I still love it even after 7 years.

I've not played the newest (3rd) one!

What's it like?

I personally quite enjoy it and play it loads online. Though the single player in my opinion is a bit crap. I still think the first one is the best though. And I never really cared for the second. But a lot of people whove played teh eold ones seem to have trouble adjusting to the whole Home City shipments concept and so don't like it much. If you just wanna try it out though, they're a few copies floating around MM for like 6 quid I think.

The 2 expansions are nice as well. The civs they add are great. Though if you use most of them you get berated for using OP civs :p

Man I would always go STARCRAFT multipalyer cant wait until SC 2 will see daylight, all RTS titles from blizzard are grate! Anybody ever played Tottal Annihilation ? Its an old title but wort checking.

Yep Single Payer Campaign Collecting all the War Gear and seeing your Force Commander become more stronger, pretty good stuff :)

The single player was good, but not great. I would have preferred the Risk-style as presented in Dark Crusade - if they'd improved on that, they could have done no wrong. Theoretically. To this day, one of my favourite RTS experiences.
