I really enjoyed the first (lost many hours to it) and same with the second

this + entrenchment, but be warned its a seriously SERIOUSLY long game with no campaign mode to speak of, games can last days

Meh, Age of Empires 3 doesn't seem to run on Windows 7 and the XP compatibilaty mode give resolution issues.

Really? That's quite annoying :S Actually I was planning to get the 64 bit win 7 student thing but that is enough reason for me to hold out. I play aoe 3 a fair bit online and not ready to let that go right now.
