Found this in the folder I did of a shoot of a friend I did in early summer. Came across it and even though it's not a good shot traditionally, there's something I like about it. Also it's candid which I'm a fan of.

My in camera cropping can be awful at times!




I had football training until late tonight so I had to resort to a photo of a pair of shoes. However I was testing some different lighting. I had a large honeycomb grid at front left and back right I had another diffused light. I really like the final result. I'm liking the rim lighting, which is something I had yet to achieve with a photo before :)

It may be a boring photo of my shoes. But the point of this project is to getting me taking more photos, and in doing so I am playing about much more with lighting and learning a fair amount, so it's all good :)

Funny you should mention cereal. I am planning on getting a close up of my coco pops on a morning when I know I won't have time for a photo during the day or night :D
