Get your best keyboards ready

Wondered how long it'd be before the dirty keyboards comments. I even thought about getting a clean one out, just for you. :p

It's very well used and I have no sensible way to clean it. I'm sure it'll die eventually and then I've got a new one to get dirty. :D

PS - Looks much worse in that photo than it actually is.

I ordered a new one, and put the old in the washing machine. 2 days later it didn't work, but 2 weeks later it worked just fine.

OcUK sell a keyboard for a fiver. Buy one of those and use it for a week or so while yours dries out, and if after that it doesn't work then buy a proper replacement?

The only way forward is,

In the movie Se7en, there is a pedophile he is called Victor, found chained to a bed after a year, on the edge of death after daily physical and mental deterioration so bad he has even chewed off his own tongue.

Fitting.

That's a long way backwards. If that becomes law I want you to be his prison guard and you to be the one that allows him to die in agony slowly.

I really hope you aren't capable of doing it. There is no justification for torture in my opinion, regardless of what the victim has or hasn't done. Someone capable of that in my opinion fails at humanity.

In all honesty not now but a few years ago when I had a break down I was in a dark place and would have happily.

And you just passed Humanity 101 :P

You've actually expressed my point very well ; something has to be wrong before we can be that inhuman to one another (or indeed an animal). Torture for punishment is just not right. We might feel like it when we're angry or outraged, but society itself should serve to hold us back from rash inhuman acts.

The problem with this kind of crime really depends on what you see as the point of the justice system. If it is to stop people from committing crimes by setting punishments as a warning to people not to commit those crimes then you have a problem here. No person in their right mind would do this sort of thing, and if they're not in their right mind they'll do it whatever the potential punishment. If you believe in retributive rather than utilitarian justice, however, then what on earth is true retribution for this kind of crime? Taking in to account that the man is clearly sick, do you just put him straight into an asylum until his urges recede? Very difficult..

Im pretty sure everyone would resort to torture at some point, i dont believe that you wouldnt, instead of me typing an example why dont you come up with one, and if you still are convinced you wouldnt then post the example.
