Having trouble with the wifes phone provider, she's 14 months into an 18 month contract and her handset is dying on a regular basis. 
Turns off at random, doesn't show missed calls, etc (yes, it's a k850i) She's on her second handset as the screen on her first on packed up.
O2 say they won't help as the phone is outside it's 12 month warrenty so it's not their problem
Can i try the SOGA angle with the phone not being fit for use/purpose?
Damned annoying that they are tying her into an 18 month contract but not providing a phone that will last that long! But they have kindly said she's welcome to buy her way out of the contract for £100 (so she can pay the full cost of the rest of the contract but not get the use, brilliant idea!)
