Mass Effect Renagade?

Don't forget once you complete it you can carry on in the next game at the same level and also you can take a specialist power with you. So if Sniper Rifle is your favourite after playing through with Soldier, you can play through as a Biotic next time and add Sniper as your bonus skill ;)

That's extremely useful to know!

Squad controls work but are relatively pointless, barely ever used them, its not a particularly hard game, tis all about the story really. NOt sure which I found more fun overall, I think the stupidest worst thing they did, was making you unable to use Snipers/assault rifles when not the proper "class". You can aim a pistol, you can aim anything else, a child can look through a scope and point it.
Lol, try changing the difficulty level :p

Yes it's very easy running through on easy level as a pumped up soldier with all the best armour on. Try that tactic on the harder levels as a Biotic.... you'll get about six foot through the door until you're introduced to the Game Over screen.

You need to plan your attacks, equip all the right weapons with the right ammo. Then plan where to place your team for cover or another effective tactic is sending someone like Wrex, heavily armoured, to do a suicide run. He won't last long but can draw their fire giving you a small window to target their strongest soldiers... There's no set way of doing any parts, that's why it's fun but it's certainly not easy! ;)

Dont you need to get the 150 kills with the weapon before being able to select it as a skill?

Yeah you need the achievement for the skill to be able to unlock it on the next play-through.

Applies to biotic & tech powers as well as weapon skills.

Infiltrator with throw = win!

Yeah, they pop as notifications in-game (white flag icon - bottom left IIRC)

You can also check which achievements you have on the main menu.

I need to check my achievements had a bunch of them but never checked what I got. I use the sniper rifle a lot, it's so stable. I had 2 rail upgrades but that made it overheat in one shot. :p

Finished this last night :)

Saw all possible endings as well (I saved just before the end), just looking to play through for a second time. I was a Paragon the first time, so I'm going to be a right jackass this time and be a Renegade.

Beautiful game, with such depth to the story.

I'm not quite at the end yet. :)

Joshing you, Josh :)

It's one a few items that you can't get in-game. I've played through a few times, so I'm messing around with the console and using some of the stuff that didn't make it into the game (like the Cerberus armour, which looks awesome) :)

Oh dear. lol I took that at face value.

I want some Spectre weapons. Only 950,000 credits short

Sell all the un-used upgrades, I did that atleast. :D 60k for one and you get lots and lots off of geth and what not.

It was also very easy playing through on the toughest default difficulty setting you can choose in a new game, and I was a biotic, the only tough part was Pinacle station with underpowered weapons and crap armour, low level and just not possible at that stage. I went in first chance I got because I hadn't played it before previously. Went back at higher level, was easy. But realistically I think thats the only bit of the game you can do out of order easily.

It was far far easier on PC than on the 360, purely because aiming was so much quicker and easier.

The thing of it was, as much as I wanted to be able to use a rifle, the pistol was plenty powerful. Other than the sniper rifle for real accuracy at range and power in a single shot. I didn't really feel weaker attacking with the pistol, than the rifle in the previous game, likewise the shotty even up close multiple hits to kill some guys but in the same time you can throw out so many pistol shots it didn't really feel that different in terms of time to take enemy down.

I think at midrange the rifle should have felt far more powerful than shotty/pistol, pistol only really has accuracy advantage, and shotty should be far more devestating at uber close range.
