RFID chips, here they come!

What points do you disagree with?

all of it.
Lets start with how RFId For banking is any different to a credit/debit card. then lets look at the other stuff he says. Like hem holding records. they do that all ready. Or the ability to close your account down. Same again can do that all ready.

then lets move on to specific points about where the world is moving.

I believe that we will all be carrying a chip (one way or another) in the not too distant future; it will carry all our medical history, and millions of other peices of info; there will be no cash, so all transacions will be by card (recorded) and your buying habits and movements will also be available.
When you eventually start to rebel, your chip will be voided and you will not be able to buy anything or do anything until you conform; sci fi? ..... not too far down the line, if you ask me.

except all that is already available and is how it works. How do you get cash? through a chip. Cash means nothing. You don't just magic cash up from no where.

And guess what these things do not happen and cannot happen with out a massive change in law. that is when we protest if they try changing the law. the fact the data is on a rfid chip rather than on something like a debit card, is neither here nore there.

just read 1st page. Usual OCUK answers of technology which can be interpreted as breach of privacy thus immedaite FAIL. Great.

Someone invents an EMP gun and instead of becoming one of the richest people alive for revolutionizing warfare oir one of the most successful terrorists ever by shutting down and airport tower or planes electronics.

no they'll do practical jokes with it...

Although in your example they would gain some notoriety for killing people with pacemakers or insulin pumps i suppose.

Practical joke? I fail to see the funny side in the mass disabling of human cattle markers.

Also, diabetics don't just drop down dead when they don't get insulin from a pump, it can take months to die from ketoacidosis.

Human augmentation will eventually happen. You think it's crazy, but when it becomes mainstream, no one will have such outdated views.

What he's saying is that if you did have an EMP weapon and wanted to use it to cause harm, killing some rfid tags holding medical info is a hugely innefective way of doing it.
There are so many possible things you could do with an emp device.
-Take out a server farm? (ISP?)
-Take down every computer in a building? (Bank?)
-Immobilise cars and gridlock an entire city?
-Shoot planes out of the sky
-Inconvenience a doctor by making him look up the old system because he cant get the chip on his patient to scan?

But they can can pass out due to low blood sugars. They are usually on a cocktail of drugs, which can interact with any medical treatment given.

They can **** off if they think they'll be putting one in me.

I and others on here have been saying this has been coming for ages now and some people on this forum just laughed and posted silly tinfoil hat pictures. Like soemones already said this won't happen overnight but will be rolled out over the next 10-15 years and it's only a matter of time before the government is telling us it's a good thing and will help in the war against terror, ect, ect.

And for those who don't think there's a darkside to human chipping Dr Nick Begich states that RFID chips can effect the emotional state of the people there put in by using electro-magnetism and do you really think the government are honest and trustworthy enough not use this?

Arron Russo has been proven right.

Oh come on AcidHell2. There are millions of diabetics that do just fine without having to have RFID chips surgically implanted in them.

Oh boy, here we go again. Care to give me a specific point in the video as I didn't find a single RFID mention.

And there are many that have complications. Having your medical records will increase your chance of survival and your chance of full recovery. You can not deny this. Just because 98% of people do fine, means we shouldn't strive to help that 2%?

A) it is not compulsory
B) all it holds is a barcode, which links you to your ID. Nothing diffrent that driving license or passport

What is your fear?
