Operation Flashpoint 2-Dragon Rising.

I'm sort of enjoying it at the moment - Ai is a bit weird and the jeeps/aircraft don't look very real (they almost look small) compared with Arma 2

attacked a jeep coming towards me - the guys jumped out (as it was taking damage) - then the Ai enemy decided to jump back in it and come towards me - didn't feel very real

but its good fun and worth the 17.99 I think

Im getting about 40-50fps, maybe im looking at fraps to much.:o
 
played this today, hamachi is a god send! we had to alternate between browse game and invite to play it, it was randomised between browse and invite to game :confused:

I'm playing it on the 360 and I'm having the same problem now. I've got the pilots with me but I keep losing one of them to enemy fire and then the other decides he doesn't want to follow me :(. Any ideas?
 
I've managed once to get to the extraction point but the one remaining pilot was at the bottom of the hill playing with the trees. When i ran back to get him I died!! (for the 20th time). Im also out of ammo if it helps!
 
Ignore my post above - Just completed it! :D.

Before (when I kept being killed) I was running from the house where the pilots were being kept and then straight for the extraction point. This time around I left the house, worked my way south towards where the enemy were firing from in the south, took them out then went up the hill to the extract point. Doing this I avoided the two helicopters that flew in and landed in the north/north west of the village and killing me before!

Yes its been around for quite a while before they started releasing "real" game footage, its apparantly a mock up of how they wanted it too look. Codemasters claim it was leaked, but sounds a bit viral to me.

Even though i'm massively disapointed its not the BF2 killer i'd been waiting for thanks to the lack of Dedi's, its not a bad game so far despite some wacky AI and OTT Hdr.

1224m my longest Sniper kill so far :D Unfortunately the range finder on the binocs seems to top out at 1450m and i'm not sure if the game actually renders characters beyond that point?

Edit: Doesn't seem to render beyond 1300m or there abouts, not even large vehicles. Shame as my PC could definitely handle some extra draw distance.

How are you supposed to get in the fuel dump to blow up the generator? tried several attempts at creeping in but all hell breaks loose. Is there a hole in the fence or something I should look for

There is a direct way in but I just climbed over the concrete barrier I think. It's always best to snipe as many enemies as possible before you approach the target. ;)
 
Hi all,

i have a question about the PC version of the game.

i've noticed on youtube that at the start of each level you can hear the commander speaking while the subtitles roll on the sreeen. When i play the game on my PC all i get is subtitles.... no one is saying anything. i can still hear the back ground noise (guns and so on... but thats it). Is it meant to be like this?!

Can some one please help!

The pilots would'nt follow me :confused: they just kept shooting the enemy and dieing,stupid idiots :p
