Operation Flashpoint 2-Dragon Rising.

is it me or this hard as hell lol & and i'm only done a bit of mission 2 .. it is actually possible to complete a mission without any of your team dieing ??

Hard? The full campaign took me about 2 and a half hours to finish. Nothing on the scale of the original Op Flash. Only used around 2 clips on each mission, headshots are way to easy on a PC. AI is moronic and just keep coming straight at you. The sniper rifle is a joke, 15 rounds = 15 kills in 15 seconds.

Shame really, was looking forward to this game, hope that when the fix MP it will kinda redeem it slighlty.

The whole game 2.5 hours ? You only used 2 clips on the whole airport assault

Yeah right:rolleyes:

just got this game, and chatting to my mate he can't get the mp (specifically coop) working. he's tried hamachi, but still a fail...

anyone have any ideas how to get it working?

you have to both be on hamachi, and connect via the hamachi ip. In game go to lan then type his ip in once hes setup a server. The browser doesnt work U have to connect directly with the hamachi ip

Odd question this, and perhaps one more for the mappers - are there any tractors in this one? This is a key deal-breaking factor for one of my friends.

I'm a bit disappointed in the graphics - especially when videos like this were released to promote it:

that video was done in after effects or some other compositing tool. You can see its all made up with stills and layers to make the "effect" of in game footage.

PC gamer gave it a more realistic review - 69% Have not read the review yet, but there summary comment was something along the lines of the fact that it forgot it was a milsim.

what kind of rig you gotta be running to play this game on high settings

Runs great on my rig in sig at 2560x1600 , all setting on high and 4xaa, and shadows at 2048 around 35fps. with 8 gig of memory and cpu at 4.2 and gpu overclocked.

ta ... :) running at x9 multi on my P5B mobo as well - which is means its still on the fastest strap - can only do 3.45 gig on x8 - seems to be fsb limited

errm - espeically for a 1.325 vid one ! .. (1.575 VCore bios = 1.52 idle, and 1.49 ish load) - 80C small prime - but in normal use 41C idle, and never above 60 in games etc - totally stable

It's not that bad of a game, single player campaign as good as COD4 was, and everyone was praising COD for just about everything
