Win 7 launch

I recieved my home premium pre-order today, a bit early but but when i have had the RC for a good time (which has Ultimate features) I dont plan on instaling for a while.
I paid £44.99 so i am happy,but i fail to see why people have so awaited previous Windows launches, Is the release of a RC new to Windows 7?

WHen it was originally the E version back in July ish it was £45 ish, I paid the same as did many others

I ordered in late July from (edited as per rules) a Major retailer that has several high street shop names.

Even i was amazed they honoured the price having been let down years ago by them!

Considering ordering home premium, but with theese postal strikes id be waiting a day or two on delivery, totally skipped vista on my main rig and stuck with xp.

I was on XP on old system, the RC release made me jump into a new rig as i suddenly dint need a new OS immediately!

For that i think MS got something right!

im still asuming ocuk will be using dpd thats what i ticked for my free delivery option says dpd not royal mail so you should get it as normal

Does the free delivery with dpd apply to n. ireland? Ive always just clicked the free royal mail delivery option.

How?, back at Windows ME launch

I got my copy delivered yesterday by Royal Mail.
Installed without a hitch.
