The all encompassing BNP thread - keep all crap in here.

I knew Nick Griffin was stupid but I have only just seen how stupid he really is.

He answered none of the questions that were put to him and instead kept smiling nervously, hands shaking. Tonight he was out of his depth and drowning, after 30mins I had enough of listening to this stuttering idiot.

When David said about other news what happened to Royal Mail strikes?! Talking about the Royal Mail strikes would have been more interesting and worthwhile.

I struggle to understand what is classed as indigenous british?

The BNP will always lose when it comes to how they define their target audience,

Why can't it be, if your born in the UK your british, born in England.. English/British, scotland, Scottish/British, wales Welsh/British, ireland Irish.

Regardless where your grandparents are from.... If you are born here you are classed as English/Scottish/Welsh/Irish
There is no such thing as 'indigenous british', just look back through the history of the british isles. Many of the celts originally were pushed out by the germanic immigrants from mainland europe. Not to mention the influence of Saxons, Normans, the French etc.

The BNP prey on the vulnerabilities, marginalisation and disaffection of otherwise good people. Every vote for the BNP is a stain on this country.

Wow you've really prooved to be an idiot in this thread, making diggs at people who you don't agree with, why don't you say something useful.

Please point out the digs I've made. There's been plenty of digs at me from certain people.

Besides, if we're going to argue about pride in our country I think that should extend to pride in our language, don't you?

Agreed. He'd probably have got much more respect if he admitted to what he really was and owned up to the statements he's made in the past than try to laugh it all off.

White skin, everything else doesn't matter, at least from the BNP's viewpoint. See their list of acceptable ethnic categories for membership.

Because the BNP care about people's skin colour and wish to discriminate on that basis, that is the very basis of their party enshrined in their constitution. All the rest is just an attempt to mask this and make the party appear more palatable by hiding it's purpose.

This is possibly the funniest and most ironic thing about people who seemingly want to support the B.N.P. and their values. A party that wants to maintain "British" traditions yet seemingly attracts people with such an appalling grasp of English. I'm not talking about the odd typo.

Whilst I think it's unfair to criticise someone's grammar (and mine is certainly not perfect) it is rather ironic when someone with a clear lack of spelling and grammar comprehension then preaches about immigrants eroding society.

Bad grammar itself is unimportant but then putting yourself on a pedestal and claiming national superiority is, I feel, an insulting joke.

I thought the audience was overly bias, the BNP have been voted in mostly in smaller northern towns, Jack Straw is MP for Blackburn, therefore it would have made more sense to hold the program there where there could be a more representative audience?

I saw no reason for the audience to be London based.

The constant 'woop'ing was totally childish.

The quotes did make the BNP look bad, but I think at the end of the day the BNP had to get their initial support and funding somewhere so perhaps they did say the things which they knew other people wanted to hear, even though the did not beleive it was realistic.

I don't see too much how it's different to how the main parties get funding from rich individuals and companies in return for favours.

I think the BNP should have been honest and said "Yes, I said those things because I knew it was what other people wanted to hear, we needed the money and support to get where we are today..."

after his comment on islam they changed the subject rather quickly I thought he made good sense.

The question the white haired chap asked towards the end that was misheard/shouted down, with mass unemployment in the UK why are 10000's of immigrants coming in every month, what was the answer?

I prefer "The Week" anyway M.Portillo seems to now speak a lot more sense since he left politics. He actually just said that if we knew the truth about immigration we may actually need more immigrants than we currently have :) that will upset a few....

Labour leaving their core voters has caused more working class people to vote for the BNP - A pretty obvious point.

There is more to life than grammar and spelling. ( you wouldn't think it if you spend any time here)

councils pandering to muslims and taking xmas lights down.

Rochdale Council actually cancelled Bonfire Night last year as there was not enough interest from the minority community.

I dont believe in the majority of the BNP policy but some of their policy is bang on, and to be honest it doesnt matter what your race is, if you want things to change in Britain we need to do something about immigration.

I dont know about anyone else here but I dont particulary like watching fruity boys snogging in the high street either.

British whites wont work those jobs, was more of an audience shout out then a panel discussion.

Ofcourse we should take pride in the language, but this is an internet forum, not a formal letter or report, we are just having a discussion.
