Same, well as in I get bored of playing through again so have only done it a couple times with huge gaps inbetween.
But I also will be getting it at some point mainly for the SP, as COD games have generally always had the best SP experience(or amongst the best) since the first game(barring COD 3, and possibly 5). MP is an add on, I've always regarded MP as an extra, with most games MP being dull as hell, flat out crap or too easy. Theres a few exceptions, UT's single player was always an add on to the multiplayer obviously, its nothing more than a tutorial for MP.
COD 4 MP was incredibly poor anyway, I can't see why people are getting upset over consoley MP(spammy, uber quick and pointless overcrowded maps with "special attacks") being made more consoley. IF CS:S 2 was released without dedicated servers, sure, I'll join the march through London in protest, or at least photoshop a pic of my head onto someone in the march to make myself feel less lazy about not actually going.
But I wouldn't protest Halo 3 eventually being on the PC and having consoley MP with it. Thats all assuming the matchmaking would be awful or the friends list way of doing private games for clans and whatnot is terrible. IT doesn't seem to have occured to anyone that, when you join a nice game with a 10ping for you, and everyone in there has a sub 50ping, that maybe theres more than enough people with decent connections to play the game P2P without lag. It might work great, I think one of the downfalls of it was OPF2 just came out with incredibly badly done MP thats laggy as hell, the difference being, the whole game is a mess of crap, expecting the MP to be perfect would defy logic. A good company that makes good games, might just make a decent MP without dedicated servers, or, it might be turd.
Of course if IW screw up the single player in the same mannor, lose all the atmosphere of previous Cod incarnations I'll be angry as hell, as long as the single player is a fantastically atmospheric, fun to play decent storied single player, well thats the COD franchise right there.
Even so, pre-ordering on steam for more than you can get the game almost anywhere else is just daft.
It's abit far fetched to say MP is too easy, once you find a decent server it can be a very good experience.
But i do agree its too emphasised on special attacks.
Too many explosions/grandes etc to have fun at times.
