I believe that's intentional, yeah. Gives you a moment to calm down in the thick of it and perhaps work out wtf you're going to doAlso the game seems to slow down at certain points i.e. like slow motion (audio as well)...i assume this is intentional?
Just had a few goes - I use my laptop and laptop pad to control
So things are a bit tough - my first question is; how do I turn on a crosshair? (or is that not an option, dont mind if not, but dont want to be missing out if there is)
Graphics are nice, real sense of panic at times... sort of defend a place at all costs mentality.... it seems OK if you can get a room and get them to come face on at you... but one level we got caught in a corridor and they came left, right, from the walkway above and from the walls below.... got butchered by a chainsaw in that one.
Exactly the game ive been waiting to play, id like to learn more about each class - i chose a welder class but could never work out how to lock the doors together.
Also ive used just 3 weapons... handgun, Bullpup and Axe! Which was ace rushing at some zombie with.
Would the solo game give me the story behind this sudden outbreak of mutants?![]()
Just to add to what Aekeron said, all weapons have ironsight or some sort of scope for aiming (default RMB) so thats why theres no crosshair.
In terms of classes there is no weak one, most have their own uses in certain circumstances. The weakest if I had to say so would be the firebug class, it has had little updated via patches (no top tier weapon for instance) and the flamer can struggle via the harder enemies and eats through ammo quickly but its a great support class when everything just needs to BURN! and pre patch it was my favorite class.
Just had a good 12player match (not ocuk its constantly full), first time playing >6 people and its pretty epic the last few rounds ended up with 3-4 of us left just getting swarmed, we were lucky to finish as 1 or 2 more fleshpounds and we would have been out of powerful ammo.
Maybe i'll setup a 3rd KF server for now...
Though I'm a bit concerned that if the people new to the game play on a server of more than 6 people they'll not get perk progress :/
